Workshop Tufting
For centuries, Bruges was the beating heart of artisanal textile work, where weavers created beautiful fabrics and tapestries with care and dedication. With our tufting workshop, we continue this rich legacy with a modern twist.
What is tufting?
Tufting is a captivating creative technique involving shooting yarn through a canvas using a tufting gun, resulting in a handmade rug. The advantage lies in the ability to create stunning textures and designs by playing with various yarns, colors, and shapes.
Who?
The workshop is open to anyone eager to explore their creative side. Additionally, it’s an ideal activity for team building, bachelorette parties, birthdays or family moments.
When?
- Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
- Friday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM or 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM
- Saturday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
What to expect?
- You’ll receive expert guidance on using the tufting gun.
- You’ll have the opportunity to explore the tufting gun.
- Then, you’ll create your own unique design.
- We use pure wool, genuine linen canvases, and natural latex.
- You’ll leave with your self-created masterpiece.
Price
- 140 euros per person.
Practical Information
- Duration is approximately four hours.
- Includes materials and necessary tools.
- Maximum of 3 to 6 participants.
- Minimum age is 12 years.
- For registration with three people or more, you receive a 10 euro discount per person.
- If you wish to register as a group, we can discuss a date and time of your choice.
- For cancellations less than a month before the date, we are obliged to invoice 50% of the registration fee. For cancellations on the day of the workshop, the full amount will be charged.
